BIO
México Reimaginado is an interdisciplinary performing arts company dedicated to researching, reimagining, and bringing Mexico’s musical heritage to the stage through a contemporary lens.
The company creates live experiences that bring together music, artistic research, literature, dance, improvisation, and visual art, approaching tradition as a living language in constant transformation.

COMPANY BACKGROUND
Since 2023, México Reimaginado has pursued an ongoing process of research and creation centered on Mexico’s musical heritage. The project began as a musical ensemble and gradually incorporated literature, dance, storytelling, visual design, and improvisation as tools for artistic research and performance-making.
In 2024, the project received support through PECDA Colima 2024 (Programa de Estímulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico), a state program supporting artistic creation and development. This support enabled the company to deepen its research, develop new performance works, and consolidate its interdisciplinary methodology.
From 2024 through 2026, the company has presented its work at festivals, community celebrations, museums, university venues, public squares, and international gatherings in Mexico and the United States. Its trajectory includes two consecutive years of engagements in both Milwaukee and Chicago.
